Specifically shot in a vertical format for Instagram TV, Bad JuJu was a project that demanded a subtle touch.
Following the life of a comedy rapper, the series often had serious undertones, and the grade had to match that intensity.
Often switching from warm, saturated Albuquerque landscapes in New Mexico, to serious character driven drama.
(With a healthy amount of hyper-real music videos with cheesy lens flares and instagram filters inbetween).
This 16-part series was not shy on creative licence.
