Raising The Maryrose: The Lost Tapes 

he gripping story of how, 40 years ago, the Mary Rose, King Henry VIII’s flagship, was raised from the bottom of the sea in a desperate race against time.

Client Brief

As the title implies, 90% of this documentary was recovered archive tapes and film from the rasing of the ship. As such this work didn’t feel mch like a creative grade but rather a restoration of the original material. Working with the diretor we put a lot of time into cleaning up the archive and enhancing the little details lost to time – to give the viewer the best possilbe viewing experience of this historic event.
